Dubsdread Catering Event Specialist Peighton Ballant shares 2023's trending colors to consider for your Fall weddings and events. 

As we step into the Fall of 2023, it’s also time to step into some new color trends to ensure we go into the upcoming season and into the new year in style! Consider the newest palettes by Pantone when planning your event décor, outfits, and designs. These 10 colors are a great reflection of the season and are sure to make a statement whether as the primary color choice or in combination with softer hues. Here are the colors that will be on-point for your Fall events:

• TENDER PEACH – A softer, calming beige with pink undertones.
• ROSE VIOLET – A brighter pink tinged with purple.
• VIVA MAGENTA – A vibrant red with a dark pink undertone.
• RED ORANGE – A wondrous vibrant orange.
• RED DAHLIA – An earthy brown with undertones of red.
• HIGH VISIBILITY – A vibrant yellow with red undertones.
• PERSIAN JEWEL – A more vibrant periwinkle blue.
• CARNIVAL GLASS – A brighter pastel green.
• BURNT SIENNA – An earthy red.
• KOHLRABI – A well-balanced lighter green.

If some of the bolder colors seem a little bit too much to you, Pantone also included classic and season-less colors that have a lot of versatility and longevity to complement brighter Fall colors:

• COCONUT MILK – A soft neutral cream.
• ECLIPSE – A soft black with a blue undertone.
• HOT FUDGE – A traditional dark brown with grey undertones.
• SILVER BIRCH – A soft grey with slightly green undertones.
• DOE – A neutral, but strong taupe.

The range of all these colors gives you so many combination options for event decoration, or even your fashionable closet. Red Orange, High Visibility, and Burnt Sienna for a truly Fall feel. Or infuse a brighter note against a Fall palette with Persian Jewel, Rose Violet, and Carnival Glass. Eclipse or Hot Fudge could also be the perfect colors for bridesmaids’ dresses and groomsmen suits.

 

But no matter how you decide to use these colors, they will match the season flawlessly and will be sure to make a statement. A lot of these colors are very bright and bold, so if they feel a little intimidating at first, combine them with one of the more neutral colors. A new year means a new you, so it’s the perfect opportunity to experiment with some things that may be a little out of your comfort zone.
