How/where did you get engaged?
We were celebrating my birthday over a weekend at the Ritz Carlton in Amelia Island, FL. During my birthday dinner at the resort's restaurant, Salt, when Jason popped the question.
What are you most excited about for your wedding day?
We are excited to share this special moment with are friends and family. As well as creating beautiful memories for us of getting married!
What aspect are you excited to plan the most? (Ceremony, food & beverages, photographer, DJ)
We are mostly excited about the catering and cake!
A FEW MONTHS OUT / PLANNING PROCESS:
How do you feel the planning is going?
The planning is going great! We've booked all our vendors and now we are focusing on the small details.
What have you found to be more difficult than you expected?
Compiling the guest list has been the most difficult aspect so far.
What has been more fun about the process than you expected?
Cake tasting!
WEDDING DAY:
What was the best, most memorable part of your big day?
It was definitely doing the first look reveals. Seeing each other as bride and groom was just so memorable. Also, getting to see the room reveal and marvel at the execution of all of our planning up until the big day!
If you could change one or two things about your event, what would they be?
Nothing, the day came together perfect!
Is there any advice you would give other couples planning their event that you wish someone had told you?
Stay organized and communicate with each other on how you envision this day to go. It's a big decision and a team effort!
