An Interview with Vendor Partner Greg Dillon of Photography by Greg

Greg Dillon of Photography by Greg is one of our partner vendors dedicated to making the photos of your special day perfect. 

Here he shares his experience and most frequently asked questions:

1. How long have you been in the industry?
I have been in the photography business for more than 20 years and have had my own business for almost 15 years.

2. How many weddings do you do annually?
I average about 42 weddings a year.

3. What is your favorite part of the wedding day?
I enjoy capturing moments of excitement, joy, happiness, and love as they unfold.

4. How would you describe your style?
Artsy, creative, fun and journalistic, while always capturing the important group photos.

5. What kind of packages do you offer?
We offer many options including Storybook albums, prints, gallery wraps, thumb drives, online viewing and engagement sessions. Our packages start at $1,185.00, and for planning purposes, most events average between $1,500.00 and $2,600.00.

6. How far in advance do you recommend couples book their photographer?
I recommend booking your venue first so you can then take your style, time of day, and venue highlights into account to select the right photographer for all of your needs. I would book both the venue and the photographer back-to-back at least eight months to a year out.

7. What advice do you give to couples when choosing a photographer?
I think it’s important to find an experienced wedding photographer who is creative, friendly, efficient, and provides great services and products.

8. What is a pet peeve of yours during a wedding?
Not being offered any wedding cake. (Just Kidding). 

9. What sets you apart from other photographers? 
I have a passion for what I do and enjoy capturing those special moments creating beautiful images.
