Meet Your Dedicated Team Member – Chef Perry Snyder

Five Questions with Chef Perry Snyder:

How many years have you been with Dubsdread Catering?
I have been working for the Dubsdread Catering Team since 2014.  

What is your college and/or life experience that prepared you for this position?
I was enlisted in the United States Army for two years and completed my bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. But the kitchen is where I’ve thrived. I have worked my way through just about every role from the dish and utility department to Line Cook, to Sous-Chef and now to Executive Chef. 

What are your plans for your future career/personal growth?
Just continue to push myself each day and learn what I can about food and the industry. When I first started, I was working for a small restaurant group the Director of Operations would always say, “We should not be okay with things just being okay. If we can make it better, and turn okay to great, then why don’t we do that or figure out how to get there.” That has always resonated with me and it’s something I’ve brought with me to every role since then.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
If I am not working, I am online as my alter ego playing games and streaming.

What do you enjoy most about your position?
For me, it’s all about creating the finest cuisines for our guests.
