1. How many years have you been with Dubsdread Catering?

I have been working with Dubsdread Catering for over fifteen years now.

2. What is your college and/or life experience that prepared you for this position?

While I was in college, I was actually working as a hostess at the The Tap Room at Dubsdread restaurant. That experience taught me so much about the day-to-day operations as well as the importance of guest relations in the hospitality industry. Although it would seem a simple job, the interpersonal relationships and problem solving skills I developed then, I use every day in my position now.

3. What are your plans for your future career/personal growth?

As cliché as it sounds, I really want to grow Dubsdread Catering to its fullest extent, meaning I’d love for us to take on and manage additional properties, grow our offsite catering team, and push beyond the boundaries of Orlando and even outside of Central Florida. Our team is so good at what they do, in any situation, for any occasion, and I would love to see them really get to use all of their skills on a bigger scale.

4. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I am always trying new cuisines and culinary creations, it is something I have always loved to do, and also fits my career very well. My love for eating, drinking, and being merry has forced me to now also enjoy being at the gym in my free time. I have a lot of fun doing activities like Orange Theory, kickboxing, and Crossfit.

5. What do you enjoy most about your position?

There is never a dull moment. I can honestly say that in the 15 years I have been in the industry- I learn something daily. This position also keeps my mind sharp due to problem solving, time sensitive topics, crisis management, and multi-tasking. There is nothing boring or mundane about working at Dubsdread Catering.
