Dubsdread Catering Event Specialist Peighton Ballant shares some of her pro tips for incorporating Pantone’s Fall2022 Color Trends into your event for a stylish and chic season.

As we step into the end of 2022, it’s also time to step into some new color trends to ensure we go into the Fall season in style! Consider the newest palettes by Pantone when planning your event décor, outfits, and designs. These 10 colors are a great reflection of the season and are sure to make a statement whether as the primary color choice or in combination with softer hues. Here are the colors that will be on-point for your Fall events:

• LAVA FALLS – A strong rusty-red
• SAMOAN SUN – A warm and inviting yellow
• ORANGE TIGER – A wondrous vibrant orange
• ROSE VIOLE – A brighter pink tinged with purple
• AMAZON – A vibrant earthy green
• NOSE GAY – A softer, calming pink
• WATERSPOUT – A softer, vibrant blue
• CARAMEL CAFE – A strong confident brown
• MIDNIGHT – A brisk darker blue with a gray undertone
• MARTINI OLIVE– A beautiful greenish brown

If some of the bolder colors seem a little bit too much to you, Pantone also included classic and seasonless colors that have a lot of versatility and longevity to complement brighter Fall colors:

• ARTIC WOLF – A soft neutral cream
• AUTUMN BLONDE – A traditional cream with golden undertones
• POLAR NIGHT – A soft black
• LODEN FROST – A soft green with cream undertones
• CHISELED STONE – A neutral, but strong gray

The range of all these colors gives you so many combination options for event decoration, or even your fashionable closet. Combine Lava Falls, Caramel Cafe, and Samoan Sun for that perfect Thanksgiving celebration. Nose Gray or Waterspout could be the perfect pop of color in centerpieces or linen color, while Autumn Blonde or Polar Night could also be the perfect colors for bridesmaids’ dresses and groomsmen ties. 

But no matter how you decide to use these colors, they will match the season flawlessly and will be sure to make a statement. A lot of these colors are very bright and bold, so if they feel a little intimidating at first, combine them with one of the more neutral colors. A new year means a new you, so it’s the perfect opportunity to experiment with some things that may be a little out of your comfort zone.
