Dubsdread Catering Event Specialist Peighton Ballant shares some of her pro tips for incorporating Pantone’s Spring 2022 Color Trends into your event for a stylish and chic season.

As 2021 comes to an end and we step into the new year, it’s also time to step into a whole new set of colors that will keep you trendy this Spring. According to the Pantone Color Institute, there’s ten colors you should be keeping an eye out for that are able to be incorporated into nearly any occasion, as well as some neutral colors to tone things down. These lively and soft colors will add just the right touch to your Spring wardrobe and décor, making sure you or your event are stylish and chic for the season:

• Spun Sugar – Reminiscent of a nice, spring day
• Gossamer Pink – Can add a light and tender touch to any event
• Innuendo - A lively pink that can add a nice pop of color to any occasion.
• Skydiver - An inviting blue
• Daffodil – Reflective of a spring garden
• Glacier Lake - A softer, blueish-gray color to compliment any of the Spring colors
• Harbor Blue - A brisk blue that will catch everyone’s eye
• Coca Mocha – A nice and comforting brown
• Dahlia – A stand out purple that exudes confidence
• Poinciana – A bright red that will make a statement

Pantone also included a few classic and seasonless colors that have a lot of versatility and longevity that can tone down or pair well with the more vibrant colors of Spring:

• Snow White
• Perfectly Pale
• Basil
• Northern Droplet
• Poppy Seed

The range of all these colors gives you so many combination options for event decoration, or even your fashionable closet. Combine Spun Sugar, Gossamer Pink, and Daffodil for that perfect Easter celebration. Dahlia or Poinciana could be the perfect pop of color in centerpieces or linen color, while Innuendo or Harbor Blue could also be the perfect colors for bridesmaids’ dresses and groomsmen ties. 

But no matter how you decide to use these colors, they will match the season flawlessly and will be sure to make a statement. A lot of these colors are very bright and bold, so if they feel a little intimidating at first, combine them with one of the more neutral colors. A new year means a new you, so it’s the perfect opportunity to experiment with some things that may be a little out of your comfort zone.
