Here she shares her experience and most frequently asked questions:

1. How long have you been in the industry?
I have been a photographer for 11 years now. At the beginning I started photographing low income families who just couldn’t afford traditional portrait sittings. While I loved the charity work I did with families, it was when I photographed my first wedding nine years ago that I just knew it was what I was meant to do.

2. How many weddings do you do annually?
I photograph an average of 45 to 50 weddings a year, but I am excited that I am expanding and am hiring additional photographers to grow, so I hope that number changes soon.

3. What is your favorite part of the wedding day?
That’s hard to answer actually. Naturally a favorite is when the couple finally sees one another for the first time, but for me, I enjoy watching the family and parents during the ceremony. Maybe it's because I am a mother and one day, I will be watching my son marry the love of his life. It makes all of those feelings come out for me.

4. How would you describe your style?
I would describe my work as clean, natural, organic and real. I want to photograph in a way that the couple actually remembers doing it. I don't over edit my images to look like they were staged for a magazine. I love raw emotion and I want my work to show those real feelings as they are happening.

5. What kind of packages do you offer?
We offer MANY different packages. know firsthand how expensive weddings can be, so I like to pride myself on being able to work with just about any price range for my clients. It’s all about what they are looking to have for themselves, and their families. We offer basic right-to-the-point packages and we offer luxury all-inclusive packages. It’s really customized couple by couple.

6. How far in advance do you recommend couples book their photographer?
We are booking up to a year and a half in advance. I would highly suggest clients book a minimum of eight to 12 months in advance.

7. What advice do you give to couples when choosing a photographer?
I always tell the client to make sure that you see full galleries of a photographer’s work. As a photographer we like to post our favorite images, but it’s important for a client that they see every image they will be getting - start to finish. Also, make sure you vibe with your photographer. If you're wanting a outgoing super fun photographer you need to make sure that the photographer has that personality. If you're naturally shy in front of the camera it's crucial you hire someone who can make it less awkward for you. Essentially, do you research and have the necessary conversations!

8. What is a pet peeve of yours during a wedding?
When I have been contracted, I send a questionnaire as well as helpful tips to the client to mitigate as many concerns as possible. There is a lot of things clients are unaware of, mainly because they’ve never done this before, but what can cause issues are things like planning accurate time for hair and make-up because that can make things late, as well as keeping the ready room tidy so there is no clutter in the photos. If a client wants sunset pictures there needs to be a timeline set up to assure that we are photographing at sunset. And, while it’s simple to say, it’s so true…don’t sweat the small stuff. If the flowers aren't exactly the perfect shade of pink or if its windier than you wanted it to be outside, don’t worry, just be present and breathe knowing you are marrying your best friend.

9. What sets you apart from other photographers?
For me, it’s all about connection with my clients. There are many amazing photographers in Central Florida, and many are great friends of mine. But what sets me apart is the connection and comfort that I have with my clients. I ease the awkwardness of having a camera in their faces like never before and I have ways to bring out everyone’s personality in the final images. And honestly, I truly care. I care about my clients and my goal is to walk away making them feel that they didn’t just hire a photographer, they gained a new friend.
