Five Questions with David Zenert:

How many years have you been with Dubsdread Catering?
I have been working for the Dubsdread Catering Team for just over a year now.  

What is your college and/or life experience that prepared you for this position?
I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where I graduated with a bachelor’s in arts with a focus in ceramics and sculpture, so catering is something I didn’t prepare for. I learned what I know today over time by immersing myself in it.

What are your plans for your future career/personal growth?
I quite enjoy the work I do right now, so I hadn't thought too much further off. Perhaps I will get more involved in 3D design work in the future but even so, I've been in the catering industry for eight years now and there's nothing quite like it.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I play board games, video games, and enjoy watching shows. I kayak, explore Disney, and play with my dog. I paint, sculpt, and 3D print. I've even gone so far as to prototype my own board game. If it's something worth exploring, I likely have tried it at least once.

What do you enjoy most about your position? 
There is a joy in leading events for people. They pour their ideas and thoughts into making interesting and exciting celebrations and I get to help bring that to life. Every event is a little different, so it always keeps me on my toes.
