How/where did you get engaged?
We got engaged in Orlando at the Cuba Libre restaurant in January of 2022.
What are you most excited about for your wedding day?
We are most excited to have our closest friends and family celebrate with us! The details will be wonderful, of course, but the most important part is the love.
What aspect are you excited to plan the most? (Ceremony, food & beverages, photographer, DJ)
The most exciting part to plan is the food!! We are soooo excited for the tasting event at Dubsdread!
A FEW MONTHS OUT / PLANNING PROCESS:
How do you feel the planning is going?
The planning is going well! We LOVE the team at Dubsdread because they make it easy! All our major items are planned, and now we get to work on the fun details like favors and music.
What have you found to be more difficult than you expected?
Selecting the menu has been more difficult than we thought it would be. Dubsdread has so many delicious options, that it's hard to choose!
What has been more fun about the process than you expected?
We've had so much fun working on our First Dance. We are learning a choreographed version of Footloose (by Kenny Loggins) and can't wait to surprise our guests!
WEDDING DAY:
What was the best, most memorable part of your big day?
The best, most memorable part of our wedding day was spending the evening with our closest family and friends. It was wonderful to celebrate our love with the people who love us most!
If you could change one or two things about your event, what would they be?
We wish we had ended the reception earlier. Most of our guests had already left by the time we were ready for the big sendoff.
Is there any advice you would give other couples planning their event that you wish some-one had told you?
Our advice for other couples is to relax!! There is no detail of the wedding worth stressing or arguing over.
