How/where did you get engaged?
We got engaged September 5, 2020. A friend from my hometown was visiting with me for the weekend and Jeremy came by and dropped off an envelope that night with instructions not to open it until the next morning. Obviously, my friend and I clearly did not sleep that night. The next morning, I open the envelope and it said to meet at a specific restaurant. When I arrived, I found my entire future bridal party was already there. The next envelope directed us all to the nail salon and then the next one sent us to the mall to shop! The final one I read in front of him at my doorstep and then he proposed. We capped the day off with a celebratory dinner, just the two of us!
What are you most excited about for your wedding day?
WEDDING DAY:
What was the best, most memorable part of your big day?
Watching everyone enjoy themselves. Seeing people laughing and dancing with us gave us so much joy.
If you could change one or two things about your event, what would they be?
Eat more hors d’oeuvres! The food was fabulous and I didn't get enough!
Is there any advice you would give other couples planning their event that you wish someone had told you?
Have a specific person in charge of making a box of sweets or any other things you want to take with you so that when you're ready, it is too.
