Pro Tip Q&A: What is Your Favorite Departure Item?

When event planning is underway, our Dubsdread Catering Event Team gets asked for their professional opinions on everything from wedding traditions to flowers, to food. One of the questions our team gets asked is what they recommend for making a couple’s departure from the reception a fun part of the event for everyone. So, we thought we’d ask our team to share their thoughts here for your consideration.
Peighton Ballant: Bubbles! I think they’re so fun and the photos always turn out great. I recommend having bubble machines or bubble guns to get the best result!
Christiana Bullard: Cold sparklers. They are completely safe indoors and the effect looks exactly like traditional fireworks.
Shanna Paris: Bubbles! Especially if you want to spend your budget for other things, bubbles are inexpensive and makes for great photos.
Michelle Edmiston: Cold burn sparklers for guests or cold spark machines set up at the exit. They are both so beautiful in pictures.
David Osmola: I like the glow sticks many people are opting for. They provide a lot of color in photos and depending on the style, make a fun take-home for guests.
Carissa Llewellyn-Burns: Bubbles! They photograph so well, and they are fun for kids and all guest
Kristen Berry: Bubbles. Who doesn’t love blowing bubbles?
