ONE YEAR OUT:

How/where did you get engaged? 
We got engaged at Mead Gardens! Ryan was so antsy that he waited a grand total of five minutes into our garden walk before popping the question. We absolutely knew we had to have our wedding here!

What are you most excited about for your wedding day?
We are looking forward to spending time with our closest friends and family and marrying each other of course!

What aspect are you excited to plan the most? (Ceremony, food & beverages, photographer, DJ)
We are most excited about planning our food offerings and attending our tasting session! We are also excited about decorating the space to our liking as the space at Azalea Lodge is a great canvas that allows us to have fun and be creative. 

A FEW MONTHS OUT / PLANNING PROCESS

How do you feel the planning is going?
We feel like planning is surprisingly easy! Especially after meeting with Dubsdread Catering’s day-of coordinator. She just made everything so easy, gave great advice, and we feel very relaxed and excited for the big day knowing we are in such good hands. 

What have you found to be more difficult than you expected?
Picking a dress. Who would have thought? But it has been more challenging than I anticipated.

What has been more fun about the process than you expected?
Making all of the little choices and seeing it all come together has been extremely fun!

WEDDING DAY

What was the best, most memorable part of your big day?
The best part of the day was standing in front of all our friends and family at our ceremony! We both couldn’t stop smiling.

If you could change one or two things about your event, what would they be?
I wish it was longer! It was just perfect. Great food and service, wonderful time with family and friends, it just went by way too fast.

Is there any advice you would give other couples planning their event that you wish someone had told you?
Whatever you think your bar tab should be, DOUBLE IT! When everyone is enjoying themselves that much, the drinks just keep flowing and I think you should budget for an extra good time!
