ONE YEAR OUT:

How/where did you get engaged? 
We got engaged on a cruise to the Bahamas in October 2021. He surprised me by hiring a professional photographer on the ship through one of their offered services. We went around taking photos on different decks. When we got to the top deck to take photos, I turned around and he was on one knee! 

What are you most excited about for your wedding day?
We are most excited about the ceremony. It’s going to be such a special time with our friends and both sides of our family. 

What aspect are you excited to plan the most? (Ceremony, food & beverages, photographer, DJ)
We are most excited about planning the after party! The food, fun, dancing, and celebrating with our friends and family.  

A FEW MONTHS OUT / PLANNING PROCESS:

How do you feel the planning is going?
The planning is going great! We got the big vendors booked early and that has really helped the process along.

What have you found to be more difficult than you expected?
Deciding on some of the small details. There are so many more than I expected. 

What has been more fun about the process than you expected?
Getting to see everything come together as the individual details fall into place. 

WEDDING DAY:

What was the best, most memorable part of your big day?
The best part was the ceremony! To become husband and wife in front of our families and friends was the best!

If you could change one or two things about your event, what would they be? 
I truly cannot think of anything I would have changed. Everything was just as imagined and planned. 

Is there any advice you would give other couples planning their event that you wish some-one had told you?
It’s not advice I wish someone had told me, but advice I’d share. Make sure to hire vendors that are on your team. It’s a big day and having people around that want to make it the best day for you, truly makes all the difference. The team at Dubsdread is excellent, they made us feel like our day was just as important to them as it was for us.
